Cath Kidston Provence rose table

I bought this from a local charity shop and give it a lick of paint to bring it up to date! I sanded it first then gave it an undercoat and then painted it using Crown Antique Cream. I covered the bottom of the table in Cath Kidston Provence Rose.

I love the way that this project has turned out.
i have two of these tables to buy and they are listed on eBay at the moment if you are interested :)

Handmade Felt Cath Kidston Stanley Decorations

To create this Cath Kidston Stanley dog I used the template which is in the Cath Kidston book Sew! I shrunk the template down to a smaller size to make it suitable to make decorations.

I have had an order for 126 Stanley decorations from a lady in San Diego. she is going to use them to help with a dog rescue project.

Here is the process of making the decorations.

Here is the template that I am using to create the decorations.

I cut out a lot of the pattern ready to sew them up!

Here are some Stanley dog's stitched and ready for the embellishments.

I used brown felt to cut out the ears and stuck them on!

She would like 63 of the dogs with Cath Kidston Provence Rose in blue.

For the other 63 she wanted a more Christmas style pattern so I have suggested these materials!

Which pattern do you like the best?

New DIY project!

Another DIY refurbish Project! This is another table from a charity shop with a glass panel. I think I am going to use some Laura Ashley wallpaper to go under the glass panel and paint it cream. I will post the results of this very soon!

Bargain Primark Chelsea boots

While I was In Primark I saw these Chelsea boots for only £8.00! They come in black and also leopard print.

These ones from New Look are pretty much the same but the price is £19.99.

Primark's version are such a bargain for £8.00!

Cath Kidston table - Before and After

Last week i bought this table from a charity shop. I thought it could look really nice if I brought it up to date. I used some purple paint which i had left over from my bedroom walls and mixed some with white paint to get this lovely lilac colour. I then used my material from Ikea to give it a shabby chic touch. I love the way that it has turned out!

Wedding Papercrafts - Patterned Confetti Boxes

Selection of wallpaper

My chosen wallpaper

First I used a ruler to draw a rectangle 10cm x 26cm.

With a pencil and ruler I marked 4 points trying to keep the same distance between each.

Then I used a hole punch to create these holes.

Then using an empty Yankee Candle (I didn't have a compass, haha) I drew a circle 8cm in diameter.

Then i cut everything out.

You then need to apply some glue along the bottom inside edge of the wallpaper and around the wallpaper circle and hold it in place until the glue has dried. Also glue where the seams overlap.

Then you need to cut two lengths of ribbon 25cm long.

Thread each end through the hole and knot on the inside to secure them.

Here is my finished example of a confetti box.

For the confetti, gather together a selection of tissue papers to match the confetti boxes. Using scissors cut out little hearts from the tissue paper. Mix up the coloured hearts and fill each box.

You can also cut hearts from tracing paper and book paper. The top image is Alice in wonderland confetti! They have used an Alice in wonderland book to cut hearts from! i love this idea.

What do you think? :)
